Hadith 8:586
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abda narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib: That he used to say regarding the pigeon of the Haram: If it is killed in Makkah, then there is a sheep [as a penalty] for it.
