Hadith 8:60
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Sa‘id, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, that ‘Imran ibn Husayn entered into Ihram from Basra. He then arrived to ‘Umar, and he [‘Umar] spoke harshly to him and said: "People will say that a man entered into Ihram from Kufa." ‘Umar saw him in a poor state, so he took him by the hand and began to walk him around the circles [of people], saying: "Look at what this man has done to himself, while Allah has made [the matter] expansive for him."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا بن علية عن سعيد عن قتادة عن الحسن أن عمران بن حصين أحرم من البصرة فقدم على عمر فأغلظ له وقال يتحدث الناس أن رجلا أحرم من الكوفة فرآه عمر سيئ الهيئة فأخذ بيده وجعل يدور به في الحلق ويقول انظروا إلى ما صنع هذا بنفسه وقد وسع الله عليه
