Hadith 8:649
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Ya'qub ibn Khalid, he said: Abu Asma, the freed slave of Abdullah ibn Ja'far, narrated to me, he said: Al-Husayn ibn Ali went out for Hajj, and he complained of pain in part of the road, so he gestured toward his head. They said to Ali: "Al-Husayn is gesturing toward his head." So he ordered a camel to be slaughtered to be given as charity to the people of the water source and a circle [of people].
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن يحيى بن سعيد عن يعقوب بن خالد قال حدثني أبو أسماء مولى عبد الله بن جعفر قال خرج الحسين بن علي حاجا فاشتكى ببعض الطريق فأشار إلى رأسه فقالوا لعلي إن الحسين يشير إلى رأسه فأمر بجزور يتصدق بها على أهل الماء وحلقة
