Hadith 8:7

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from ‘Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, from Mujahid, who said: While ‘Umar was sitting by the House (the Ka’bah), some men from Iraq arrived as pilgrims. They performed the circumambulation (tawaf) of the House and performed the circumambulation between al-Safa and al-Marwah. ‘Umar called them and said: "Did you perform Hajj for other than Him (Allah)?" They said: "No." He said: "Did you remain (in the state of Ihram)?" They said: "Yes." He said: "Did you perform the Umrah?" They said: "Yes." He said: "If that is the case, then restart the work (the rituals)."
