Hadith 8:72
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Maymun ibn Shibl, regarding the man who marks the sacrificial animal (*hady*). He said: Whoever marks the sacrificial animal and puts a garland on it during the months of Hajj, then Hajj has become obligatory upon him. And if he does that outside the months of Hajj, it is not binding upon him.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا غندر عن شعبة عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن ميمون بن شبل عن الرجل يشعر الهدي فقال من اشعر الهدي وقلد في أشهر الحج فقد وجب عليه الحج وإن فعل ذلك في غير أشهر الحج لم يعب عليه
