Hadith 8:725
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: 'A'idh ibn Habib narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from 'Ata, Mujahid, and Ibrahim, that they said: "If a person in the state of ihram kills game, he is liable for its value. He shall buy an animal for slaughter [to be sacrificed]. If he does not find [an animal], the people shall estimate food, and he shall give in charity to every poor person half a sa'. If he does not find [food], he shall fast two days for every sa'."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا عايذ بن حبيب عن حجاج عن عطاء ومجاهد وإبراهيم أنهم قالوا إذا أصاب المحرم الصيد فعليه ثمنه فاشترى دما وإن لم يجد قوم طعاما فتصدق لكل مسكين نصف صاع فإن لم يجد صام لكل صاع يومين
