Hadith 8:783
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Wahhab al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from Ayyub, he said: I saw al-Qasim, Salim, and Nafi throwing [pebbles] from the tree. As for al-Qasim, he used to stand between them and Makkah, placing Makkah behind his back, facing it. As for Salim and Nafi, they used to stand closer than his standing position.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا عبد الوهاب الثقفي عن أيوب قال رأيت القاسم وسالما ونافعا يرمون من الشجرة فاما القاسم فكان يقوم بينهما وبين مكة يجعل مكة خلف ظهره مستقبلها وأما سالم ونافع فكانا يقومان أدنى من مقامه
