Hadith 8:806
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, he said: I asked 'Ata' about a man who threw five pebbles [at the Jamarat]. He said: He should throw what remains, unless the days of Tashriq have passed, in which case he must slaughter an animal for that.
