Hadith 8:834
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, who said: 'Umar departed from 'Arafah in the evening on a red camel, and he had shortened the head of his mount until it almost touched the middle of the saddle. He said: And he was reciting the Talbiyah with three [phrases]: "Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk, Labbayk la sharika laka Labbayk, inna al-hamda wa an-ni'mata laka" (Here I am, O Allah, here I am; here I am, there is no partner for You, here I am; indeed, all praise and grace belong to You). And he was traveling at a gentle pace, and whenever he passed by one of the mountains, he would raise his hands and say the Takbir.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن الأسود قال أفاض عمر عشية عرفة على جمل أحمر وقد قصر رأس راحلته حتى كادت تصيب واسطة الرجل قال وهو يلبي بثلاث لبيك اللهم لبيك لبيك لا شريك لك لبيك إن الحمد والنعمة لك وكان يسير العنق وإذا مر بجبل من الجبال رفع يديه فكبر
