Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 8:863

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Isma'il ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafi', from Aslam, the freed slave of 'Umar, that he found a pleasant scent while he was at Dhu al-Hulayfah. He said: "From whom is this?" He said: "From me." He said: "From you?" He said: "O Commander of the Faithful, do not be hasty with me, for Umm Habibah perfumed me and swore an oath upon me." He said: "And I swear an oath upon you that you shall return to her so that she may wash it off you, just as she perfumed you." He said: "So he returned to her until he caught up with them on some of the road."
