Hadith 8:874
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Mis’ar and Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn al-Muntashir, from his father, he said: I heard Ibn Umar saying: "That I wake up—meaning perfumed with qatran (tar)—is more beloved to me than that I wake up in the state of ihram emitting the scent of perfume."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا مسعر وسفيان عن إبراهيم بن محمد بن المنتشر عن أبيه قال سمعت بن عمر يقول لأن اصبح يعني مطيبا بقطر أحب إلي من أن اصبح محرما انفح طيبا
