Hadith 8:889
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali bin Mushir narrated to us, from Ubayd Allah bin Umar, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, that he stayed in Makkah, then he went out intending [to go to] Al-Madinah. Until when he was at Qudayd, it reached him that an army from the armies of the Fitnah (strife) had entered Al-Madinah, so he disliked to enter upon them, and he returned to Makkah and entered it without Ihram.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع عن بن عمر أنه أقام بمكة ثم خرج يريد المدينة حتى إذا كان بقديد بلغه أن جيشا من جيوش الفتنة دخلوا المدينة فكره أن يدخل عليهم فرجع إلى مكة فدخلها بغير إحرام
