Hadith 8:892
Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ata, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed Tawaf for seven circuits and prayed two rak'ahs, and he did the same during his Umrah. He said: If a man performs Tawaf, I do not like for him to increase [the prayer] beyond two rak'ahs, but if he does increase, there is no harm in it. And if he finds the Kaaba open, he should not enter it until he has performed Sa'i between Safa and Marwa.
