Hadith 8:898
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Isra’il, from Jabir bin ‘Abd al-Rahman bin al-Aswad, that his father used to stand at al-Marwah at the edge, as if it were the kneeling place of a camel. And at al-Safa, [he would stand] in the hollowed-out place.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن إسرائيل عن جابر بن عبد الرحمن بن الأسود أن أباه كان يقوم عند المروة عند المدى كأنه مبرك بعير وفي الصفا في المكان المنحفر
