Hadith 8:899
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Isra’il, from Jabir, from ‘Ikrimah, that he used to stand below the distance [of the hill], as if it were the kneeling place of a camel. And he would stand from al-Safa lower than the excavated place.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن إسرائيل عن جابر عن عكرمة أنه كان يقوم دون المدى كأنه مبرك بعير ويقوم من الصفا أسفل من المكان المنحفر
