Hadith 8:910
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Hisham, from al-Hasan and ‘Ata’, that they both said: If a man performs Hajj on behalf of a man, and he forgets to name him, then the Hajj is sufficient for him, for Allah already knows on whose behalf he performed the Hajj.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن هشام عن الحسن وعطاء أنهما قالا إذا حج الرجل عن الرجل فنسي أن يسميه فقد أجزأ عنه الحج فإن الله قد علم عمن حج
