Hadith 8:911
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’, that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) performed *raml* (brisk walking) during an ‘Umrah, and Abu Bakr, ‘Uthman, and the Caliphs did likewise. And ‘Ata’ said: The Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) performed *raml* during his Hajj.
