Hadith 8:974
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Bishr bin al-Mufaddal narrated to us, from Abd al-Rahman bin Ishaq, from his father, from Abd al-Rahman bin Amr bin Sahl, who said: I saw Uthman arriving in Mecca, and we were with him. He would not untie a knot therein until he departed. He would do nothing more than circumambulate the House (the Kaaba), perform the sa'i between al-Safa and al-Marwa, and shave his head.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بشر بن المفضل عن عبد الرحمن بن إسحاق عن أبيه عن عبد الرحمن بن عمرو بن سهل قال قد رأيت عثمان يقدم مكة ونحن معه فما يحل بها عقدة حتى يخرج فما يزيد على أن يطوف بالبيت ويسعى بين الصفا والمروة ويحلق رأسه
