Hadith 8:978
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from 'Umarah ibn al-Qa'qa', from Abu Zur'ah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, and those who shorten?" He said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave," three times. Then they said: "O Messenger of Allah, and those who shorten?" He said: "And those who shorten."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن عمارة بن القعقاع عن أبي زرعة عن أبي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اللهم اغفر للمحلقين قالوا يا رسول الله والمقصرين قال اللهم اغفر للمحلقين ثلاثا فقالوا يا رسول الله والمقصرين قال والمقصرين
