Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah narrated to us, from Ibrahim ibn Maysarah, from Wahb ibn 'Abd Allah—I think he said: from his father—he said: I was with my father, and I saw the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying with his hand: "May Allah have mercy on those who shave." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, and those who shorten?" He said, upon the third time: "And those who shorten."
