Hadith 8:985
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yunus bin Muhammad narrated to us, he said: Aws bin Ubayd narrated to us, from Yazid bin Abi Maryam, that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "O Allah, forgive those who shave [their heads]," three times. They said: "O Messenger of Allah, and those who shorten [their hair]?" He said: "I was on that day one who had shaved his head, and it would not have pleased me for my head to be shaved [in exchange for] red camels," or he said: "a great matter."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا يونس بن محمد قال حدثنا أوس بن عبيد عن يزيد بن أبي مريم أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال اللهم اغفر للمحلقين ثلاثا قالوا يا رسول الله والمقصرين قال كنت يومئذ محلوق الرأس فما سرني بحلق رأسي حمر النعم أو قال خطر عظيم
