Hadith 29:102
Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Abu Imran al-Jawni, from Anas, that when they conquered Tustar, he said: They found a man in a coffin whose nose was a cubit long. They used to seek victory and rain through him. Abu Musa wrote to Umar ibn al-Khattab about that. Umar wrote back: "This is a prophet from among the prophets, and the Fire does not consume the prophets, and the earth does not consume the prophets." He wrote: "See to it, you and your companions"—meaning the companions of Abu Musa—"and bury him in a place that no one knows except the two of you." He said: So Abu Musa and I went and buried him.
حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن أبي عمران الجوني عن أنس أنهم لما فتحوا تستر قال فوجد رجلا أنفه ذراع في التابوت كانوا يستظهرون ويستطرون به فكتب أبو موسى إلى عمر بن الخطاب بذلك فكتب عمر إن هذا نبي من الأنبياء والنار لا تأكل الأنبياء والأرض لا تأكل الأنبياء فكتب أن انظر أنت وأصحابك يعني أصحاب أبي موسى فادفنوه في مكان لا يعلمه أحد غيركما قال فذهبت أنا وأبو موسى فدفناه
