Hadith 29:119
Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Mansur, from Hilal ibn Yasaf, from Rabi' ibn 'Umaylah, from Hudhayfah, who said: A man from the people of Kufa and a man from the people of Syria differed and boasted to one another. The Kufan said: "We are the people of the Day of Qadisiyyah and the day of such-and-such." The Syrian said: "We are the people of Yarmouk and the day of such-and-such and the day of such-and-such."
حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن منصور عن هلال بن يساف عن ربيع بن عميلة عن حذيفة قال اختلف رجل من أهل الكوفة ورجل من أهل الشام فتفاخرا فقال الكوفي نحن أصحاب يوم القادسية ويوم كذا وكذا قال الشامي نحن أصحاب اليرموك ويوم كذا ويوم كذا
