Hadith 29:171
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Hisham informed us, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) had [the revelation] sent down upon him while he was forty years old. He remained in Makkah for thirteen years, and he remained in Al-Madinah for ten years, then he passed away while he was sixty-three years old.
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال أخبرنا هشام عن عكرمة عن بن عباس أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أنزل عليه وهو بن أربعين سنة فأقام بمكة ثلاث عشر سنة وأقام بالمدينة عشر سنين فتوفي وهو بن ثلاث وستين
