Waki’ narrated to us, from Hammad bin Salamah, from Ammar, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, who said: We sat with Ibn Abbas in the shade of the palace at the funeral of Zayd bin Thabit. He said: "A great deal of knowledge has been buried today."
