Hadith 29:23
Waki’ narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Awn narrated to us, from Ibn Sirin, who said: When the news of the killing of Abu ‘Ubayd al-Thaqafi reached ‘Umar, he said: "If he had come to me, I would have been a faction for him," or he said: "If he had withdrawn to me."
حدثنا وكيع قال ثنا بن عون عن بن سيرين قال لما بلغ عمر قتل أبي عبيد الثقفي قال إن كنت له فئة لو انحاز إلي
