Hadith 29:28
Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Isma'il, from Qays, that the wife of Sa'd was called Salma bint Khasafah. She was the wife of a man from Banu Shayban called al-Muthanna ibn Harithah. She mentioned something regarding the affair of al-Muthanna, so Sa'd slapped her. She said, "Cowardice and jealousy."
حدثنا بن إدريس عن إسماعيل عن قيس أن امرأة سعد كان يقال لها سلمى بنت خصفة امرأة رجل من بني شيبان يقال له المثنى بن الحارثة وأنها ذكرت شيئا من أمر مثنى فلطمها سعد فقالت جبن وغيرة
