Hadith 29:40
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from al-Aswad ibn Makhramah, who said: Sa'd sold a basin for a thousand dirhams to a man from the people of al-Hirah. It was said to him, "Umar has heard about this from you, and he is angry with you." He said: So he did not cease pleading with the Christian until he returned the basin to him and took back the thousand.
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الشيباني عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن الأسود بن مخرمة قال باع سعد طستا بألف درهم من رجل من اهل الحيرة فقيل له إن عمر بلغه هذا عنك فوجد عليك قال فلم يزل يطلب إلى النصراني حتى رد عليه الطست وأخذ الألف
