Hadith 29:41
Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, he said: Al-Sabbagh ibn Thabit narrated to us, he said: The elders of the tribe narrated to us: Jarir ibn Abdullah said: Three hours of the day passed over the river of al-Qadisiyyah, and it was flowing with nothing but blood from those we killed of the polytheists.
حدثنا الفضل بن دكين قال ثنا الصباغ بن ثابت قال ثنا اشياخ الحي قال جرير بن عبد الله لقد أتى على نهر القادسية ثلاث ساعات من النهار ما تجري إلا بالدم مما قتلنا من المشركين
