Hadith 29:5
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Hisham informed us, from Muhammad, who said: Al-Zubayr used to follow the slain on the day of al-Yamama, and if he saw a man in whom there was a remaining breath of life, he would finish him off. He said: He reached a man lying down with the slain, and he reached toward him with the sword. When he felt the touch of the sword, he jumped up and ran, and al-Zubayr ran after him while he was saying, "I am the son of Safiyya, the Muhajir." He said: He turned toward him and said, "How do you see the intensity of your disbelieving brother?" He said: So he besieged him until he escaped.
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال اخبرنا هشام عن محمد قال كان الزبير يتبع القتلى يوم اليمامة فإذا رأى رجلا به رمق أجهز عليه قال فانتهى إلى رجل مضطجع مع القتلى فأهوى إليه بالسيف فلما وجد مس السيف وثب يسعى وسعى الزبير خلفه وهو يقول أنا بن صفية المهاجر قال فالتفت إليه فقال كيف ترى شد أخيك الكافر قال فحاصره حتى نجا
