Hadith 29:52
Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated to us, from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Simak, from al-Nu’man ibn Humayd, that Ammar acquired spoils of war, so he distributed some of it and wrote to Umar consulting him. He said: "Withhold [the rest of] it from the people until the arrival of the rider."
حدثنا أبو داود الطيالسي عن حماد بن سلمة عن سماك عن النعمان بن حميد أن عمارا أصاب مغنما فقسم بعضه وكتب إلى عمر يشاوره قال مانع الناس إلى قدوم الراكب
