Hadith 29:83
Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, who said: I heard Abu Ishaq say: I heard Abu Malik and Abu Musafi' from Muzaynah narrating that the letter of Umar came to them with Nu'man ibn Muqarrin at Nahavand: "To proceed: Perform the prayer at its time. If you meet the enemy, do not flee. And if you are victorious, do not commit ghulul (treachery/stealing from the spoils of war)."
حدثنا غندر عن شعبة قال سمعت أبا إسحاق يقول سمعت أبا مالك وأبا مسافع من مزينة يحدثان أن كتاب عمر أتاهم مع النعمان بن مقرن بنهاوند أما بعد فصلوا الصلاة لوقتها وإذا لقيتم العدو فلا تفروا وإذا ظفرتم فلا تغلوا
