Hadith 29:98
Ghundar narrated to us, from Shihab ibn Habib, from his father, that he went on a military expedition with Abu Musa. When the day came that they arrived at Tustar, al-Ash'ari was struck and fell down. I stood behind him with the horse until he regained consciousness. He said, "I was the first man among the Arabs to kindle a fire at the gate of Tustar." He said, "When we conquered it and took the captives, Abu Musa said, 'Choose ten men from the army to be with you over these captives until we come to you.'" Then he proceeded further into the land until they conquered what they conquered of the land. Then they returned to him, and Abu Musa divided the spoils among them. He would assign two shares for the horseman and one share for the foot soldier, and he would not separate a woman from her child during the sale.
حدثنا غندر عن شهاب بن حبيب عن أبيه أنه غزا مع أبي موسى حتى إذا كان يوم قدموا تستر رمي الأشعري فصرع فقمت من ورائه بالفرس حتى إذا أفاق قال كنت أول رجل من العرب أوقد في باب تستر نارا قال فلما فتحناها وأخذنا السبي قال أبو موسى اختر من الجند عشرة رهط ليكونوا معك على هذا السبي حتى نأتيك ثم مضى وراء ذلك في الأرض حتى فتحوا ما فتحوا من الأرض ثم رجعوا عليه فقسم أبو موسى بينهم الغنائم فكان يجعل للفارس سهمين وللراجل سهما وكان لا يفرق بين المرأة وولدها عند البيع
