Hadith 29:99
Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Habib ibn Shihab, who said: My father narrated to me, saying: I was the first to kindle a fire at the gate of Tustar. Al-Ash'ari was struck and fell. When they opened it and took the captives, he placed me in charge of ten of my people, and he granted me a saddle as a reward (nafal) in addition to my share and the share of my horse, before the distribution of the spoils.
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن حبيب بن شهاب قال حدثني أبي قال كنت أول من أوقد في باب تستر ورمي الاشعري فصرع فلما فتحوها وأخذوا السبي أمرني على عشرة من قومي ونفلني برحل سوى سهمي وسهم فرسي قبل الغنيمة
