Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 19:1

Abu Muhammad Abdullah ibn Yunus narrated to us, he said: Baqi ibn Makhlad narrated to me, he said: Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, he said: Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from Ja'far, from his father, that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to Usamah: "O Usamah, do not intercede in a prescribed punishment (hadd)." And he (the Prophet) used to, when he (Usamah) interceded, accept his intercession.
