Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 19:104

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, he said: Ibn Shihab said regarding a man who stole, then it was testified against him that he had stolen many times before that, and he confessed to his punishment: His hand is to be cut off. And Ibn Shihab said regarding a man who committed adultery, then it was testified against him or he confessed to that: One prescribed punishment (hadd) is to be carried out upon him.
