Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 19:111

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, from Abu Malik al-Ashja‘i, he said: The people of Hurmuz and the tribe narrated to me, from Hurmuz, that he came to Ali and said: "I have committed a hadd offense." He said: "Repent to Allah and conceal yourself." He said: "O Commander of the Faithful, purify me." He said: "O Qanbar, strike him with the hadd, but he shall administer the hadd upon himself; and if he forbids you, then desist." And he was a slave.
