Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 19:18

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Rahim ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, from Amr ibn Shu’ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, saying: "The cutting [of the hand] is for the price of a shield."
