Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 19:28

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yahya bin Sa'id narrated to us, from 'Abd al-Rahman bin al-Qasim, from his father, that Ibn al-Zubayr cut off [the hand of a thief] for a pair of sandals.
