Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Abu al-Rijal, from his mother, 'Amrah, who said: Two men insulted one another, and one of them said, "My mother is not an adulteress, and my father is not an adulterer." 'Umar consulted the people, and they said, "He praised his father and his mother." 'Umar said, "He certainly had other ways to praise them than this," and he struck him.
