Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 19:305

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from al-Jald ibn Ayyub, from Mu’awiyah ibn Qurrah, that a man said to a man, "O son of the one with the foul-smelling vulva." So he sought judgment against him from Uthman ibn Affan. He said, "I only meant such and such." Uthman ordered him to be lashed with the prescribed punishment.
