Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, he said: Al-Mas'udi informed us, from Zayd al-'Ammi, from Abu Nadra, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) struck [the offender] for wine with two sandals, forty [times]. Then Umar made a whip in place of each sandal.
