Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 19:41

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: al-Thaqafi narrated to us, from al-Muthanna, from ‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb, he said: I entered upon Sa‘id ibn al-Musayyib and said to him: "Your companions, ‘Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, Muhammad ibn Muslim al-Zuhri, and Ibn Yasar, say that the price of the shield (for which theft is punishable by amputation) is five dirhams." He said: "As for this, the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, has already passed regarding it as ten dirhams."
