Hadith 19:429

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Shu’bah, from ‘Abd al-Malik ibn Maysarah, from al-Nazzal ibn Sabrah, who said: While we were at Mina with ‘Umar, there was a large woman on a female donkey, weeping. The people had almost killed her due to the crowding, saying, "You have committed adultery." When she reached ‘Umar, he said, "What makes you weep? A woman might be forced." She said, "I was a woman who was heavy-headed (deep sleeper), and Allah used to provide for me through the night prayer. I prayed one night, then I slept. By Allah, nothing woke me up except a man who had mounted me. I saw him turning away, and I do not know who he is among the creation of Allah." ‘Umar said, "If this woman were killed, I would fear that the Fire would consume the two mountains (of Makkah)." Then he wrote to the provinces: "Do not kill any soul for this."
