Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Shareek narrated to us, from Jami’, from Zayd ibn Aslam, who said: A man was brought to Umar who had had intercourse with his slave-woman, and he had already married her off. So he struck him a beating, but he did not reach the prescribed punishment (hadd) with it.
