Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban, from Rafi' ibn Khadij, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no cutting (as a prescribed punishment for theft) for fruit, nor for the *kathar* (the spathe of a palm tree)."
