Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Jarir ibn Hazim and al-Sari ibn Yahya, from al-Hasan, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was brought a man who had stolen food, and he did not cut his hand.
