Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Shu’aythi, from al-‘Abbas ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, from Hakim ibn Hizam, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Prescribed punishments (hudud) are not to be established in mosques, and retaliation (qisas) is not to be sought in them."
