Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Isra’il, from Jabir, from ‘Amir, from Ibn Abza, from Abu Bakr, who said: Ma’iz ibn Malik came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and confessed before him three times. I said: "If he confesses before him a fourth time, he will order him to be detained," meaning: to be stoned.
