Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 19:75

Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Sufyan, from 'Amr, from Mujahid, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: The runaway slave is not to have his hand cut if he steals while in his state of running away.
